Highlight of this years conference social programme, the conference dinner, will be held at prestigious Òran Mór, located in Glasgows West End. The Auditorium is a breathtaking architectural setting and beneath the celestial ceiling mural by Alasdair Gray, one of Scotland’s largest pieces of public art, youcan enjoy the fine Scottish food and impeccable service. It is an atmospheric room enhanced by the stained glass windows, as well as retaining many of the original features of the church.
Please make your own way to Oran Mor. It is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the University.

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest arts festival in the world, with shows taking place across the city. Why not spend your free afternoon on Tuesday 21st August over in Edinburgh? A train or bus takes around 1 hour from Glasgow and there are a wide array of comedy, dance, theatrical, circus shows, street performers, outdoor food stalls and beer/cocktail gardens!.
